June 28th, 2009Ah, the popular 3D Puzzle game from way back when… Rubiks Cube was an instant hit as soon as it came out; and thanks to the iPhone game MiCube, you can now play the popular game on your iPhone!
Like the long lines for Star Wars, iPhone, and the Porta Potty; it’s a it’s something that people needed to do, and do it right away!
I remember spending a lot of time trying to figure the puzzle out… I could only get one side of the wall completed, that is until I dropped the Rubiks Cube one day and part of the cube came dislodged. I took the cube apart and put it back together; all in it’s matching color glory!
Off course, repeated dismantling and reassembly of the cube had caused the cube parts to become really loose fitting and you could no longer play with it.
With MiCube, it’s a simple process. You get the option of the iPhone app scrambling the cube for you as well as unscrambling/resetting the cube back to it’s original state. The game also has a timer so you can see how long it took you to complete the cube or when you quit in frustration, like most of us did but even then we always go back to it.

Xbox Dunks Circles Around Nike
May 19th, 2009It’s nice to know that a pair of foot protectors can be brought for $4000.99; that’s the cost of the bid that won the Nike/Xbox Dunk on eBay.
The special Nike Dunk is not an official collaboration between Microsoft or Nike but custom made by Sole Junkie.
The Xbox Dunks glow in the dark due to special fiber optic wiring sewn into the shoes.

PS3 Slim Diet
May 18th, 2009The future might be pretty slim for PS3. In the last few days, the biggest rumors are the price cuts for PS3 that Sony has been denying forever, and now leaked pictures of a slim PS3 which Sony is hitting websites with pictures posted of the slim PS3 with Cease and Desist orders.
All though the pictures of the slim PS3 are from a Chinese website, it’s got all the markings that make it seem plausible that leaked pictures could be what it is. Off course, with Photoshop’s liquid tool, you can slim it down, and with some cloning and pasting, you can add logos… Or better, yet, it could be a counterfeit.

Star Trek D.A.C. Online With Xbox Live
May 12th, 2009With the new Star Trek movie grossing 76million at the box office, the release of Star Trek D.A.C. is very much anticipated by Star Trek fans.
Xbox Live fans will have to wait till this Wednesday when the online game will be released for Microsoft’s Xbox Live system as an exclusive release. No word if the game, Star Trek D.A.C. will be released for PS3.
Cute Japanese Girl Celebrity Shoko Nakagawa Receives Cloud Black Final Fantasy VII PS3 As Gift
May 11th, 2009It’s a slow press day for Destructoid which reports on a Japanese girl famous for sniffing her cats’ butts.
Shoko Nakagawa, is well known in Japan and it seems her friends have thought the popular celebrity couldn’t do without a nice brand new Cloud Black Final Fantasy VII PS3!
Miss Nakagawa stated, “Those two surprised me!! …They secretly got me a present… Waaaaaaaahaaahaaaaa It’s so expensive, I shrieked!! …Those two are really busy, but they were able to find time to decide to get me… a surprise present!!”

Trend Micro Keeps The Internet Safe For PS3 And PSP
April 28th, 2009With the PS3 and PSP able to access the internet, it’s a safe bet that internet security will become a concern sooner or later and Trend Micro has offered an option for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable since November of 2007.
They are now offering a new service which is called Trend Micro Kids’ Safety that will block access to sites which are not safe for kids such as adult theme based websites.

The Joker Takes Over Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3)

Batman: Arkham Asylum
I’ve played the demo version of Batman: Arkham Asylum on the PS3 at Frys Electronics and the game is beautiful in it’s graphics quality, fast action, and easy use of the PS3 controller to play the game.
Better news is that, Batman: Arkham Asylum for the Playstation 3 will offer a download version on June 23, the release date of the game, which will let you play as The Joker in what is called Challenge Maps.
I expect the Xbox 360 will have a similar release or the same release sometime after the PS3 version, probably for a download fee like other games that have offered exclusive characters and later offered for a fee on other consoles.
