You’ll never get lost with a PSP in your hands
Saturday, January 12th, 2008Europeans will no longer need to worry about getting lost thanks to Sony’s wonderful PSP!
Starting early Spring, Sony will be releasing a GPS add-0n, in Europe, for your PSP. The GPS enabled PSP uses an attachable GPS receiver and UMD disc which will contain the maps with 3D models of cities.
The system uses map data from TeleAtlas, and uses the Nav N Go navigation software. Users will also be able to download new map data and upgrades through Sony’s online Playstation Network.
The system will offer two modes; pedestrian and mobile. If you are in pedestrian mode, you will be able to navigate through a 3D city from a fully modeled map.
And on the off chance you still are lost with the help of your PSP with GPS, you can call for help via Skype calling through your PSP.
What more can you ask for if you are an urban explorer?
