Microsoft warranty extended for Xbox 360 E74 Errors

Microsoft is again extending their warranty program for the Xbox 360 due to the E74 errors that are being reported by the consumers.

Like the Red Ring of Death errors warranty program, this is another issue that Microsoft will deal with and offer refunds to previous Microsoft Xbox 360 players who have had to pay for repairs due to the E74 error.

Microsoft Xbox 360 Is The Deadliest Catch

The Discovery Channel knows that the Deadliest Catch is going to be the Xbox 360 platform, that and all of Microsoft’s other marketing channels.

Discovery Communications has spent an undisclosed amount for the right to advertise across the web, mobile, and video game business of Microsoft and is reported to be 90% of the ad space that was sold.

What’s Better Xbox 360 Games Or PS3 Games?

Is the PS3 games better than the Xbox 360 games? It is not the latest hottest games that are exclusive to the game console that we are talking about but the quality of the game made for them.

Ben Dutka talks about the quality of the software programming that is put into the development of a game. He talks about his personal experiences with game software freezing up on him on his Xbox 360 system whereas he has not had any issues with any games that he has played on the PS3 console.

And coming to think about it, I have not had any issues with my PS3 system as well…

TeamXbox Reports Xbox 360 Surpassing PS3 And Wii

I posted yesterday on the report that the PS3 was the most used console during prime time and that was a report off of the GamePro site, however in a report by the TeamXbox site, it’s reported that the Xbox 360 actually surpasses the PS3 and the Wii in console usage.

Nielsen Shows PS3 And Xbox 360 Play Hours Taking Up Prime TV Time

In the latest research report by The Nielsen Company, their quarterly “State of the Video Gamer” report shows more people are playing with their PS3 and Xbox 360 during primetime television hours!

The report also mentions that more women age 25 and up are taking up game play as well and the demographic shows it’s 46.2 percent of the PC gamers and for metered gameplay minutes it amounts to 54.6 percent!

The most played game? Microsoft is king with their Solitaire and FreeCell.

Lip Service For Guitar Hero Metallica and Rock Band 2

It’s not about getting smack or any lip service regarding some new songs available for the Xbox 360 but it’s all about what new fun songs you can play along with Microsoft’s wireless microphones called “Lips.”

Reported yesterday, April 3, in London; Microsoft announced Activision’s Guitar Hero Metallica and MTV’s Rock Band 2 are the first music titles to support the Lips wireless microphone that features motion sensors and lights that respond to the singer’s actions.

You can expect more songs to be added to Microsoft Xbox Live and from the “Get Music” store.

Music titles to be released that supports the Lips microphone.

Twittering Can Get You Free Xbox Gear

I just read a wonderful story of friendship across the country between Xbox 360 users.

In a blog post posted on the SeattlePi (Which is no longer a newspaper company) 8bitjoystick posted a wonderful story of friendship and how using Twitter and meeting another fellow Xbox User, SaikoSaukra, helped him receive a free hard drive for his second Xbox 360 system.
