PS3 offering IPTV service

Sony has made a deal with one of Korea's largest telcom service to offer IPTV service through the PS3 system.

The PS3 will act as a set-top box for KT's Mega TV IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) service. The service will start on Nov. 11 and the suggested retail price will be $348,000 Won, about $300 dollars US.

I see PS3 testing the markets then offering IPTV service in other countries if this becomes successful.
